At Summit Phone Repair, we stand behind our work. Our Lifetime Warranty is designed to give customers confidence that the parts we install are reliable and that we’ll make things right if something fails due to a defect.
Please read this policy carefully—this page serves as the official and controlling version of our Lifetime Warranty.
What "Lifetime" means
Our Lifetime Warranty applies for:
- The life of the device,
- While the original customer owns it, and
- Only if the device has not been repaired, opened, or serviced by any other company or individual after our repair.
The warranty does not transfer to new owners if the phone is sold or given away.
What Is Covered
Unless otherwise stated on your receipt, the Lifetime Warranty covers:
- The replacement part installed by Summit Phone Repair.
- Manufacturer defects in parts used in your repair.
- Labor required to replace a covered part (no labor charge for approved warranty repairs).
Batteris
Battery replacements are not lifetime. They include a one (1) year warranty from the repair date unless otherwise stated in writing.
What Is Not Covered
The Lifetime Warranty does not apply to issues caused by:
- New physical damage (drops, cracks, impact marks, bent frames, etc).
- Liquid or moisture exposure after the repair.
- Exposure to extreme heat, cold, sand, debris, or corrosive materials.
- Power surges or electrical damage.
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, or discoloration.
- Software issues, operating system updates, viruses, or data loss.
- Accessories not installed as part of the original repair.
- Normal battery degradation beyond the stated battery warranty.
- Tampering, modification, or opening of the device by anyone other than Summit Phone Repair.
- Repairs performed by another business or individual after our service.
- Removal or alteration of serial numbers, IMEI numbers, or internal identifiers.
- Failure unrelated to the original repair or installed part.
- Damage caused by aftermarket cases, chargers, cables, mounts, or accessories.
- Neglect, misuse, or abuse of the device.
- Acts of nature or events beyond our control (including fire, flooding, lightning, or other force-majeure events).
Proof of Eligibility Reuiqred
To file a warranty claim, the customer provide the following:
- Their signed pre-repair and post-repair checklist,
- Proof of Purchase, and
- Verification that the repair is recorded in our system.
Warranty eligibility is confirmed using:
- Device IMEI or serial number, and
- Customer identification.
Only the original customer listed on the repair qualifies.
Where the Warranty Is Valid
This Lifetime Warranty applies only to repairs:
- Completed directly by Summit Phone Repair,
- At our physical location(s) or at the customer's location through our mobile service.
Third-party, mail-in, or partner-performed repairs are excluded unless explicitly stated in writing.
How to File a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service:
- Complete our online warranty claim form by clicking here.
- A technician will contact you to schedule a time to bring the device to us.
- Our technicians will evaluate the issue.
All claims are subject to inspection.
We reserve the right to approve or deny coverage after inspection.
What We Will Do If Approved
If your claim qualifies, we will replace the same part originally installed, at no cost for parts or labor.
Limitations of Liability
Our responsibility under this warranty is strictly limited to the original cost of the covered repair.
We are not responsible for:
- Lost data,
- Lost use of the device,
- Business interruption,
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
No device replacement is promised or implied.
Legal Terms
- This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
- Summit Phone Repair reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of service controls.
- This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided for our repairs and replaces all other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particual purpose, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
